Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you use Talivero, we collect the financial information you provide in the calculator (income, deductions, filing status, state, industry) to generate your analysis. If you create an account, we also collect your name, email address, and hashed password.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the tax entity optimization analysis, maintain your account, and improve the Service. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored on Cloudflare D1 databases with encryption at rest. API keys and request logs are retained for billing and rate-limiting purposes. Analysis inputs for free-tier users are processed in memory and not persisted server-side.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days. Request logs are retained for 90 days. You may request deletion of all your data at any time (see CCPA Rights below).

5. CCPA Rights

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of their data, and to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, use the DELETE /v1/account API endpoint with your API key, or email privacy@smarttechinvest.com.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only for session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.

7. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing. Stripe collects payment information directly and is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. We use Cloudflare for hosting and Vercel for webapp deployment.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
